Billy Jacobs, a longtime resident of Ohio, began his journey in the Country Gift industry in the early 80s as a woodcrafter and designer. From wood craft products, shelves, cupboards and primitive items in the 80s and 90s, he turned to painting in the 2000s, first in acrylics and then to watercolors in 2006. Taking the world by storm with his depictions of rural life, covered bridges, barns, churches and old farmsteads, he touched the very soul of his customers, taking many back to nostalgic memories.
Billy was a man of many talents. He wrote, sang and produced two CDs, “Home” and “The Storm”. He also loved entertaining friends with his magic tricks and spending time with his John Denver friends.
Unfortunately on May 3, 2021, Covid took his life. He left behind his daughter, Sarah and four sisters. His legacy will live on and his art will continue to grace your homes through the efforts of his daughter, Sarah and his sister, Shirley, now owner of the Art Gallery of Billy Jacobs.
