Kelley Talent

Kelley Talent’s artwork is inspired by her love for the outdoors, flowers, animals, and old dilapidated structures with loads of character and history. A Missouri native, she still resides there with her husband after raising their 2 children. Spending time with her family and friends and an occasional girls’ weekend is always a welcomed treat.

Having a long career as a graphic artist, her painting journey started a few years ago after her children went off to college. It began when she randomly discovered bible art journaling after doing a Valentine Pinterest search, which led to small watercolor paintings, which then led to creating larger paintings on canvas. Once she started painting, she never stopped. Creating in a variety of styles, from extremely detailed pieces to loose and painterly pieces, she enjoys every second of it. Painting most every day (early in the morning is her favorite time) is something that keeps her centered and gives her a sense of calm. She is so grateful that she found her true passion for painting and puts her heart and soul into every single piece of art she creates. Kelley truly believes painting is her divine calling and prays that her art brings a blessing to each and every recipient.
