After losing her father at a young age she found art as a way to deal with and express her loss. Ashley would draw her father’s old blue truck, the farm animals on her neighbor’s farm and her mother’s beautiful flower garden.
Once she became a mother, she would make coloring books from her drawings for her kids. Later in her adulthood she came across an artist at a yard sale and bought a tub of paint, went home and tried out painting for the first time. Once she saw the blank canvas come to life she fell in love and hasn't put her brush down since.
Ashley believes her environment growing up has shaped her artwork into what it is. Ashley loves painting animals of all kinds, florals, scriptures and old trucks. She wants to express God's beautiful creation through her eyes in all her work.
Ashley has built her small business from commissions of pet portraits and custom pieces. Her custom pieces are in homes all over the world and that has kept her business growing for the past five years. She feels very blessed with what all has come of her small business and now is ready to grow her business more with creating new pieces that will continue to brighten homes. Ashley’s style can be considered a bit realistic and a bit whimsical creating unique pieces of art everyone can enjoy.
